Hello from Your Lake Jennings: The only thing interesting the bass is worms drug across the bottom in 20 to 30 ft. of water. Cats are starting to spread out across the water column. Some are being caught deep and some are being caught shallow. The point is that things are starting to change.

Best Cat Spots: Hermit Cove and Hermit Cove.
Best Cat Bait: Night crawlers. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: Eagle Point and Half Moon Cove in 25 to 30 ft.
Best Bass Lures /bait: Dropshotting 10" worms.

Water Temp. Still 77 to 79 degrees on surface.

Notables: No fish over 3 lbs. reported

Prognosis: Remember that we do not open until 5 PM on Friday. The nights are still beautiful and maybe a fish dinner is in your future. We are down to our last month of night fishing.

The Lake Jennings Free Fishing University will be teaching cat fishing......
